For us Torridon Youth Hostel was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. It’s was the perfect spot to adventure us to the mountains, and returning to magical place full of amazing persons! Had everything you need to enjoy the highlands. The staff were always very supportive, helpful, warm and welcoming. We are definitely returning, we love it!

Popped in for a cheeky beer out of the rain. We didn't stop here. Looked a busy place the staff were friendly and very helpful to both us and the other people who asked them various questions about the area.

A great base for five days of hillwalking on the surrounding mountains. Mixed weather, so the large and very effective drying room was very welcome some nights. Plenty of space in the dorm, a comfortable bed, large and well equipped kitchen, and cosy lounge with a view. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and took the time to ask about my walking plans.

If you’re traveling in the highlands of Scotland and have in mind to do some hiking/trekking this is the place; cozy common spaces, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a proper meal (bring food!). Really nice and helpful people at the front desk.

Edit: recently visited other yha sites. The purpose built nature of torridon can not be overstated. Its not a brand new build but its light years ahead of traditional hostels created from subdividing older buildings. Incredible setting and …

Great hostel, somewhere to stay for the night. Got everything you need. Could do with some quiet music playing the panoramic lounge as the silence is brutal. Otherwise perfect

Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Superb location, very spacious, clean and functional. Great value for money. Staff was amazing, extremely helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to be back next year!
